APPOLYCET-2024: Web-Based Counselling and Admission Process

The APPOLYCET-2024 qualified candidates are informed that admission into Polytechnics will be conducted through web-based counselling. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to proceed with the counselling process, payment of the processing fee, and necessary certificate verification.

Web-Based Counselling Procedure

The detailed procedure for web-based counselling and other instructions will be available on the official website: https://appolycet.nic.in.

Payment of Processing Fee

All candidates from Rank 1 to the last rank can pay the processing fee online from May 24, 2024, to June 2, 2024. The processing fee amounts are:

  • For OC/BC candidates: ₹700
  • For SC/ST candidates: ₹250

Steps to Pay the Processing Fee

  1. Online Payment: Use a credit card, debit card, or internet banking to pay the fee.
  2. Print Receipt: Once the payment is successful, click on the print button to take a printout of the fee receipt.
  3. Avoid Mobile Payments: Preferably avoid using mobile phones for payment to prevent transaction failures.

Important Note:

  • Due to network delays, payments may sometimes fail. If this happens, candidates must pay the fee again. The amount debited due to the failed transaction will be refunded within four working days.
  • If the excess payments are not refunded within four days, email the details (Hall ticket number, Transaction ID, Date of Payment) to convenorappolycet2024@gmail.com for a prompt refund.

Certificate Verification

Qualified candidates must attend certificate verification along with the processing fee payment receipt at designated Help Line Centers (HLCs) as per the schedule provided. Bring all original certificates and two sets of Xerox copies:

  1. Processing fee payment receipt
  2. APPOLYCET-2024 Hall ticket
  3. APPOLYCET-2024 Rank Card
  4. S.S.C or its equivalent Marks memo (Original or Internet copy)
  5. IV to X Study Certificates or Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination
  6. EWS certificate (for OC candidates claiming reservation under EWS)
  7. Income Certificate (issued on or after January 1, 2021)
  8. Caste Certificate (for BC/SC/ST candidates)
  9. Transfer Certificate (T.C)
  10. Local status certificate (if applicable)
  11. PWD/CAP/NCC/Sports/Scouts & Guides/Minority/Anglo-Indian Certificate (if applicable)

Special Category Verification

Candidates claiming special categories (PWD, CAP, NCC, Sports & Games, Scouts & Guides, Anglo-Indian) must attend certificate verification at Government Polytechnic, Vijayawada, Near Benz Circle.

Option Entry and Allotment

Schedule for Exercising Options for All Candidates

  • 31.05.2024 to 01.06.2024: Ranks 1 to 50000
  • 02.06.2024 to 03.06.2024: Ranks 50001 to 90000
  • 04.06.2024 to 05.06.2024: Ranks 90001 to Last Rank
  • 05.06.2024: Change of options from Rank 1 to Last Rank
  • 07.06.2024: Release of seat allotments after 6:00 PM

Allotment Instructions

  1. Visit https://appolycet.nic.in.
  2. Log in with your credentials (Login ID, Hall Ticket number, Password, Date of Birth).
  3. Download the allotment order and report to the allotted college.

Tuition Fee

  • Government and Aided Polytechnics: ₹4,700 per annum
  • Private Unaided Polytechnics and Second Shift Engineering Colleges: ₹25,000 per annum

Eligible candidates will receive a reimbursement of the tuition fee as per the Government of Andhra Pradesh's norms.
